1.00 FTE Administrative Assistant to the Educational Leadership Team

The administrative team at the Champlain Valley School District Central Office seeks an organized and creative person with strong interpersonal skills to become the Administrative Assistant to the Educational Leadership Team. This position includes a variety of tasks in a fast paced and innovative office. The ideal candidate will have a fluid understanding and comfort level with all Google or G Suite products. This includes Gmail, Google Calendar, and the sharing and organization of Docs, Sheets, Forms, and Slides through Google Drive. They will also have effective writing skills and a flexible customer service-based attitude.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS: To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to execute each requirement satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability needed for the position.
•Providing direct support to the Educational Leadership Team
•Downloading, organizing and managing various data sets including creating visualizations
•Event planning including scheduling catering services and location logistics
•Creating and editing letters, articles, presentations, and website content
•Maintaining accurate financial records for the department including ordering and tracking of expenditures in financial software
•Calendar and schedule management
•Completing long-term and short-term projects as assigned

This is a full-time, full-year position with a competitive salary and full benefits.

Work Hours: 8:00 am to 4:00 pm
