TRC's partner, Hyundai Motor Group Metaplant has a direct hire opportunity for a Senior Manager of Cost Management to join their team. Hyundai Motor Group Metaplant America (HMGMA) is the group’s first EV-dedicated mass production facility, featuring state-of-the-art manufacturing technologies. As Senior Manager of Cost Management, you will be instrumental in driving operational and financial success at this pioneering plant. Strategic Leadership Develop and lead cost management strategies aligned with company objectives to drive efficiency and profitability. Identify, analyze, and implement cost-saving opportunities across materials, labor, and overhead. Oversee and report Total Delivery Cost (TDC), including COGM, SG&A, and related metrics. Core Responsibilities Establish cost management policies and processes in line with corporate goals and best practices. Lead the Cost Accounting team in accurate data collection, analysis, and reporting. Partner with manufacturing, finance, and procurement to optimize cost structures. Monitor cost performance and provide strategic insights to leadership. Drive continuous improvement through cost variance analysis and corrective action. Ensure compliance with corporate policies, local regulations, and global standards. Act as liaison with Hyundai Motor Company (HMC) and Hyundai Motor North America (HMNA) for financial and cost reporting. Lead budgeting and forecasting for cost-related functions. Mentor and develop team members, promoting excellence and growth. What You Bring ~ Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (advanced degree preferred) ~10–15 years’ experience in cost management, financial planning, or similar roles in automotive or manufacturing ~ Fluent in English and Korean ~ Deep expertise in cost accounting, financial analysis, and SAP ~ Proven leadership in high-performing, fast-paced environments ~ Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to influence executive stakeholders ~ Eligible to work in the U.S. without current or future sponsorship ~ Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed Preferred Qualifications CPA, CMA, or CFM certification Advanced Korean/English verbal and written communication skills Travel Periodic travel required   TRC Talent Solutions is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer (EOE).
