Role - Fire Alarm Inspector
Location - South Bend, IN
Job Description
Our client is looking for an experienced Fire Alarm Inspector to perform inspections, testing, and preventative maintenance of life safety, security, and communications equipment in northern Indiana and southern Michigan. Work to be performed primarily on systems such as Fire Alarm, Nurse Call, Fire Sprinkler, Kitchen Hood and/or Fire Extinguishers. All inspections must meet the highest quality standards assuring a professional, clean and safe working environment while providing a positive and professional customer experience.Minimum Requirements:
1 year experience performing Fire Alarm testing and inspections in a commercial environment
Responsibilities:
Perform inspections and preventive maintenance services on Fire Alarm, Nurse Call, and Fire Extinguishers or other systems
Must be able to stand and/or walk for 8 hours per day
Work with low voltage wiring and associated devices for the operation of low voltage equipment
Complete service inspection reports using BuildingReports
Must be responsible, self-motivated, self-starter, personable, and well-organized
Be able to communicate clearly
Organize and effectively utilize time and resources
Be reliable and have a valid driver's license
Be able to use personal computers including MS Office programs
