Come Build the Bar Program of Your Dreams

We’re Long Hospitality, and we don’t do cookie-cutter (Liu’s Café, Liu’s Creamery, Danbi). We’re launching a new concept—a bar where the drinks are bold, the vibe is sharp, and the execution is flawless. We’re looking for a Lead Mixologist / Bar Director   to help lead the charge - someone who dreams in cocktails and loves the idea of building a bar team.

This is your shot to help shape a brand new cocktail program from the ground up. Think special unique menus, smart costing, dialed-in inventory systems, and a killer training culture. And yes—you’ll be working service too. We want a leader who sets the tone by jumping on the line, owning the floor, and making guests feel like they’ve landed somewhere special.

What You’ll Do

Create a Menu That Hits

  • Build and evolve a cocktail list that’s creative, balanced, and cost-smart
  • Lead R&D: infusions, syrups, garnishes, and all your brilliant experiments
  • Make it replicable: document, cost, batch, and standardize

Run a Tight Ship

  • Own inventory, ordering, and vendor relationships
  • Set par levels, monitor usage, and keep shrinkage low
  • Streamline prep and setup so service flies

Lead the Team

  • Hire, train, and coach bartenders that bring the fire
  • Develop SOPs and onboarding that actually stick
  • Schedule with strategy: smart labor, strong coverage, zero burnout

Be the Anchor Behind the Bar

  • Work the bar like a boss—set the tempo, lead the hospitality
  • Ensure every guest gets a moment they’ll remember
  • Hold the bar to the highest standards (and have a blast doing it)

What We’re Looking For

  • 3+ years bartending, with 1+ in a leadership or lead bartender role
  • Deep knowledge of spirits, cocktails, and bar systems
  • Strong eye for design, detail, and drink balance
  • Inventory and costing experience—Excel is your co-pilot
  • Leadership instincts: you inspire, teach, and elevate others
