Role Overview:

The Project Coordinator ensures the accurate and timely processing of class action claims. This cross-functional role involves coordinating internally across multiple departments and externally with settlement administrators, and class counsel to move strategic initiatives forward.

Responsibilities:

  • Construct and oversee claim preparation projects, managing deliverables, timelines, and cross-functional inputs.
  • Analyze court documents, settlement agreements, and related legal materials to extract pertinent information for claim processing.
  • Maintain detailed records of communications and documentation for each settlement.
  • Coordinate internally and externally to ensure smooth, efficient claim processing.
  • Represent CAC with the highest level of professionalism and operational excellence.
  • Build and maintain key relationships with claim administrators.
  • Identify insights and draw relevant conclusions from historical data and research.
  • Monitor, track, and work with claim administrators to collect data and position each claim for an efficient and accurate recovery.
  • Assist with the management of deficiency notices and coordinate with the administration firms.

Qualifications:

  • 3-6+ years of relevant experience in operations, project management, consulting, legal support, business analytics, or a related area.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Experience in class action or legal industry preferred.
  • Comfortable engaging with C-level external legal professionals.
  • Strong strategic thinking, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with Salesforce preferred.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a deadline-driven environment.

Benefits

  • Base Salary: $85,000–$100,000

(We, in good faith, believe this pay range to be accurate at the time of posting but may adjust based on qualifications and experience. This range applies to NYC-based roles.)
