This is a full-time, permanent position that offers an excellent opportunity to play a pivotal role in our company's financial operations. You will be part of a team that is committed to excellence, integrity, and professionalism. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for a variety of accounting tasks, including preparing financial statements, performing account reconciliations, maintaining the general ledger, and assisting with budget preparation. You will also play a key role in our partnership accounting operations. Responsibilities:

  1. Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
  2. Perform monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing activities, including general ledger maintenance and balance sheet reconciliations.
  3. Assist with budget preparation and financial planning processes.
  4. Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and procedures.
  5. Develop and implement improvements to accounting processes and procedures.
  6. Participate in the preparation for the annual audit.
  7. Provide support to the finance team and other departments as needed.
  8. Handle fund accounting operations, including recording transactions, reconciling accounts, and preparing reports.
  9. Stay updated on industry trends and regulations to maintain up-to-date knowledge.
Qualifications:
  1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. A CPA or equivalent qualification is preferred.
  2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, with a focus on partnership or fund accounting
  3. Strong knowledge of GAAP and other accounting principles.
  4. Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
  5. Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
  6. Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  7. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  8. Proven ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  9. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make sound decisions based on accurate and timely analyses.
  10. High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
