Substitute Montessori Teacher Opportunities – Minneapolis South Metro

Sonnet Montessori & Childcare is seeking caring, flexible individuals to join our on-call substitute team at our Lakeville and Prior Lake locations. Whether you’re an experienced educator or simply passionate about early childhood development, this is a great way to stay connected to Montessori education with a schedule that works for you.

• Peaceful, Purposeful Classrooms: Step into environments designed with natural materials, calming spaces, and child-led activities rooted in Montessori philosophy.
  
• Respectful, Supportive Culture: Our schools value grace, courtesy, and collaboration—for both children and staff.
  
• Flexible Scheduling: You choose the days you’re available. We ask that substitutes accept at least 5 requests per month for consistency.
  

• Warmth and Reliability: A genuine love for working with children and a dependable, professional presence.
  
• Basic Qualifications: Must be at least 16 years old ; no prior experience required for aide-level support, but childcare experience is a plus.
  
• Adaptability: Preference for those open to working at either campus (Lakeville or Prior Lake).
