This position located in Omaha, Nebraska, requires the person to design, code and maintain web applications hosted on the cloud virtual servers from layout to function according to clients’ specifications; develop software programs to store, locate and retrieve specific documents, data and information; integrate applications by designing database architecture and server scripting; maintain database performance by calculating optimum values for database parameters; Implementing new releases; Completing maintenance requirements; run and maintain AWS-based Cloud Service such as EC2, S3, RDS, and Route 53; run and maintain the version control system for tracking and managing source codes for application development; create and maintain internal development and testing environments, including virtual servers, OS, IDE and other software tools. Must have proficiency in Apache, MySQL, PHP, PHP Framework (Laravel, Symfony etc.) and Bootstrap, CSS, HTML, JS/JQuery and Ajax, LAMP stack, Git, Linux Systems Administration (including but not limited to services of account, permission, web, ssh, sftp, email, log and cronjob), programming/scripting skills for automation in at least two of Bash, Ruby, Windows Shell, Python and Perl, general understanding of TCP/IP and related protocols (HTTP, FTP, NFS, DNS, etc.) Bachelor of Science in Computer Science/Engineering. 40 hours per week. Must have authorization to work in the United States.
